Qatar Gas Heads for Pakistan Amid Regional Tensions

Pakistan has secured another shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar after negotiating safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz with Iran.

The tanker, which loaded LNG from Qatar's Ras Laffan facility in late June, crossed the strait over the weekend and is expected to arrive at Pakistan's import facility by Tuesday.

This marks the second Qatari delivery to Pakistan this month, providing some relief as the country struggles with an energy shortfall.
