QatarEnergy LNG Disruptions Continue Until Early December 2026

Italian energy company Edison has announced that QatarEnergy's force majeure on liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries will continue until early December 2026. This is an extension of the initial declaration in April, which saw six additional cargoes cancelled, bringing the total number of affected cargoes to 35.

The disruption represents approximately 4.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas, a significant amount that will impact the global LNG market. The force majeure is due to unspecified reasons, but it's clear that the ongoing issue is causing considerable inconvenience for all parties involved.
