Qatar's LNG Export Delays Continue Amid Force Majeure Extension

QatarEnergy has extended its force majeure clauses for liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, keeping term buyers waiting for at least another month. The move affects Qatari LNG contractual supplies, which are not expected to return until further notice.

The force majeure clause was initially implemented due to supply chain disruptions and operational challenges. With the extension, QatarEnergy is giving itself more time to resolve these issues and get back to normal production levels.
