QuoMarkets has launched GOLD247, an instrument designed for weekend trading of gold, to cater to growing demand for continuous market access. This move comes as investors and traders increasingly seek to monitor financial markets throughout the weekend.

The new instrument allows eligible clients to trade XAUUSD on Saturdays and Sundays through the MetaTrader 5 platform, complementing QuoMarkets' existing weekday offerings. While conventional spot gold trading typically pauses after Friday's close, GOLD247 provides a separate trading environment for those seeking weekend market access.

QuoMarkets developed GOLD247 as a standalone instrument, designed specifically for weekend trading conditions. It operates independently from the standard XAUUSD product and follows its own pricing methodology and trading framework.

The launch of GOLD247 is part of broader industry efforts to improve access to gold markets beyond conventional trading sessions. CME Group has also reported strong participation in its 1-Ounce Gold futures contract after introducing weekend trading, with nearly 15,000 contracts traded during its inaugural weekend.
