QuoMarkets Unveils Weekend Gold Trading Instrument

QuoMarkets has introduced GOLD247, a weekend trading instrument for XAUUSD that allows eligible clients to trade gold on Saturdays and Sundays through the MetaTrader 5 platform.

The move comes as demand for continuous market access grows, with investors increasingly monitoring financial markets throughout the weekend. QuoMarkets developed GOLD247 as a standalone instrument specifically designed for weekend trading, separate from its conventional XAUUSD product.

According to the World Gold Council, total gold demand reached 1,249 tonnes during the second quarter of 2025, while the total value of demand climbed to a record US$132 billion. Strong investment inflows, continued central bank purchases, and sustained investor demand reinforced gold's position as one of the world's most actively traded financial assets.

QuoMarkets' launch comes amid broader industry efforts to improve access to gold markets beyond conventional trading sessions. The company has introduced GOLD247 as an additional trading opportunity rather than a replacement for conventional spot gold trading, allowing traders to choose the instrument most appropriate for the trading session in which they wish to participate.
