Record Argentine Agroexports Reach 63 Million Tonnes

Argentina's agroindustrial exports reached a record high of 63 million tonnes in the first half of 2026, surpassing the previous year's total by 15%.

This growth trend is attributed to several export complexes, including primary products and their derivatives. Sunflower exports posted the strongest increase, with both volume and value rising 129% from the same period in 2025.

Other sectors contributing to the growth include wheat, pulses, sour citrus, dairy products, fisheries, and barley, among others.

The main destinations for Argentina's agroindustrial exports were Vietnam, China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Algeria, Indonesia, Peru, Malaysia, India, and Egypt, which together accounted for more than 53% of total export volume.
