Riley Exploration Permian Crushes Q2 Expectations with 94% Revenue Surge

Riley Exploration Permian (NYSE: REPX) released its Q2 CY2026 financial results, exceeding market revenue expectations. The company reported $165.9 million in sales, a significant 94.2% year-over-year increase from the same period last year.

The GAAP profit of $4.11 per share was substantially above analysts' consensus estimates. Riley Exploration Permian's operating margin rose to 52.6%, up from 33.7% during the same quarter in the previous year. Its free cash flow margin improved to 38.3%, a notable increase from 5.8% in the corresponding period.

In a statement, Bobby Riley, CEO and Chairman of the Board, mentioned that the company continued to execute its growth strategy, delivering oil production near the high end of guidance. He expressed confidence in the company's ability to achieve meaningful production growth through 2026 and into 2027.
