Riverside County Gas Prices Soar for 19th Straight Day

Riverside County has seen its gas prices rise for the 19th consecutive day, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County increased by 1.4 cents on Sunday, reaching $5.772. This is the highest amount since June 6.

The current prices are a significant increase from one week ago, with a rise of 15.2 cents. Over the past month, prices have risen by 19.3 cents, and compared to last year, they are $1.279 higher. The average price has also increased by $1.221 since the joint U.S./Israel attack on Iran on February 28.

The national average price of gasoline has also seen an increase, rising by two-tenths of a cent to $4.147. This is the highest amount at this time of year, according to Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.
