Riyadh Oil Facility Fire Amid Claims of Sanaa Bombing
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have claimed that their capital city, Sanaa, was bombed on October 3rd. Residents reported hearing three loud explosions, but no further details were provided about the extent of the damage.
The Houthi media office accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out the attacks, although no evidence was offered to support this claim. Saudi authorities have yet to comment on the allegations.
In a separate incident in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, a fire broke out at an oil facility owned by state-run company Aramco. The blaze sent thick black smoke over the city, with security personnel stepping up measures in the area and roads leading to the facility being blocked off.
