Rupee Rebounds Amid Crude Price Decline on August 14
The Indian rupee started strong on August 14, rebounding from its recent pressure. It opened at 95.36 per US dollar, a slight improvement over the previous day's close of 95.44.
According to Finrex, softer Brent crude prices around $86.70 helped the rupee regain some ground. The RBI continues to defend the 95.45/$ level, keeping the currency in a narrow range.
Asian currencies were mixed, with the South Korean Won and Taiwan Dollar gaining 0.15% and 0.17%, respectively. However, the dollar index remains firm near 99.95.
