The wheat market is seeing significant gains as Russia rejects Ukraine's proposal for a ceasefire in the Black Sea region. This move has led to increased tensions and disruptions to wheat shipments from key ports.

The Chicago SRW contracts are up by $0.23 to $0.25, while KC HRW futures are leading the rally with contracts up by $0.35 to $0.36. MPLS spring wheat is rallying by $0.17 to $0.19 across most nearby contracts.

The rejection of the Ukrainian proposal comes after recent increases in strikes on export infrastructure, which have resulted in limited shipments from key ports in the Black Sea region.
