Russia has maintained its position as the leading wheat exporter after supplying around 46.5 million tons of wheat to the global market from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2026.

This achievement was made possible not only by an increase in Russia's wheat harvest in 2025 but also due to a rise in import demand from traditional buyers.

The Agroexport Federal Center reported that wheat exports to Turkey increased significantly - to around 7.3 million tons, which is a 2.2-fold increase compared to the 2024/25 season.
