Aris Mining Cranks Up Growth with Marmato Gold on Track
Aris Mining has entered the final stretch of its transformation into a mid-tier gold producer. The Vancouver-based company reported second-quarter results that showed it had $426 million in cash and trailing-twelve-month adjusted EBITDA of $690 million.
The key to Aris's growth is its Marmato mine, where a new 5,000-tonne-per-day plant is being built. First gold from the plant is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, with mechanical installation already underway and primary grinding mills on-site.
Aris realized an average gold price of $4,450 per ounce in the quarter, driving revenue of $321 million and net earnings of $94 million, or $0.46 per share. The company's operating cash flow reached $199.2 million, comfortably funding its capital investments.
