Russian Sea-Borne LNG Export Revenues Rise 8% in August
Russia's Ministry of Energy reported an 8% year-on-year increase in revenues from sea-borne liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports during August. The rise reflects higher shipment values, as Russia continues to export LNG to foreign markets despite challenges facing its energy sector.
The ministry stated that flows exceeded $1.3 billion over the latest half-month period, according to available data. This increase is notable, given the ongoing challenges in the Russian energy sector.
