Russia's attacks on Ukrainian ports have brought grain exports to the brink of disaster.

In July, Odessa faced 57 attacks on civilian ships and 67 strikes on port infrastructure.

The Golden Leo, a Turkish ship, was hit by Russian missiles on July 19, killing nine Ukrainian sailors and a pilot. Svitlana Halchenko, a shift manager at the port of Odessa, lost two colleagues in a missile attack but continues to work despite her injuries.
