Russia's ability to export grain through Novorossiysk has been severely impacted following a series of attacks on port infrastructure. According to reports, all three grain terminals at this key Black Sea port have ceased operations.

The attacks, which occurred in recent days, targeted at least five ships involved in the transport of Russian grain. Four grain carriers were attacked on August 18, and another on August 17. The damaged vessels include the dry cargo ship Victoria V, flying the Russian flag, and the bulk carrier Elina B, flying the Maltese flag.

The damage has resulted in significant disruptions to Russia's grain exports, with problems also arising at ports on the Sea of Azov. Since July 10, drone attacks have completely halted grain shipments from these ports, which account for about a quarter of Russia's grain exports.
