Grain shipping from Russia's shallow-water ports on the Black Sea has been restricted since July 10 due to safety concerns following drone strikes in the area, market sources told Reuters. The impact of this restriction is still being felt as grain prices continue to fluctuate globally.

The average grain prices at various areas in Western Canada were recently reported by PDQ, which provides information services and cash grain market prices. As of July 27, 2026, prices ranged from $310 to $340 per metric tonne, depending on the area.
