Russia's Wheat Exports to Uzbekistan Soar 15.9 Times

Russia has significantly increased its wheat supplies to Uzbekistan in the first eight months of this year, according to data from the federal Agroexport center.

From January through August, Russian suppliers shipped over 71,000 tonnes of wheat to Uzbekistan, valued at more than $12.6 million. This represents a substantial increase in exports, with volumes rising 15.9 times and values growing 13.4 times compared to the same period last year.

The majority of these shipments took place in August, with over 65,000 tonnes of Russian wheat delivered to Uzbekistan that month. This figure accounts for more than 90% of the total volume of Russian wheat supplied to Uzbekistan during this time period.
