S&P 500 Slips for Third Straight Session Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty
The S&P 500 index has been showing signs of weakness, slipping for a third straight session due to geopolitical uncertainty and higher US real yields.
According to Deutsche Bank strategists, this is putting pressure on risk assets. The S&P 500 closed the day at $0.28% below its opening price, with a year-to-date increase of 13.52%
The index has also been affected by higher oil prices and US-Iran tensions, reviving stagflation concerns.
