Sacgasco Boosts Output at Emu Apple-1 Well in Surat Basin

Australian Oil Co has made significant improvements to its Emu Apple-1 well in the Surat Basin, where production has increased to 15-20 barrels of dry oil per day following an acid wash. The previous 30% water cut was eliminated.

The company's goal is to further lift pump rates by leveraging measured fluid levels significantly above the pump intake.

Ahead of a field restart, Australian Oil Co is pushing ahead with upgrades at the Riverslea production facilities, including pond remediation and road work.
