Sagepoint Logistics Doubles Fleet with 60 Renewable Natural Gas Trucks
Sagepoint Logistics has expanded its fleet to 120 vehicles after adding 60 heavy-duty renewable natural gas trucks. The expansion is aimed at meeting growing customer demand for lower-emission transportation and increasing the company's capacity to serve dedicated truckload customers.
The new trucks will be powered by Cummins X15N engines designed for heavy-duty natural gas applications. Sagepoint Logistics specializes in dedicated truckload transportation and operates as a subsidiary of Sagepoint Energy, which develops and operates waste-to-energy infrastructure that produces renewable natural gas.
The company's vertically integrated business model allows it to manage fuel supply and transportation within the same corporate structure. According to Curt Reitz, Vice President of Logistics at Sagepoint, 'The demand for low-carbon transportation is accelerating, and our customers want a partner that can scale with them.'
