Sandfire Resources Soars as Copper Prices Rise

Sandfire Resources Ltd (ASX:SFR) saw its shares rise 3.94% to AUD 19.25 on July 27, 2026, as a result of broader market sentiment improving due to easing Middle East tensions and declining oil prices.

The S&P/ASX 300 Metal and Mining Index rose 2.30%, while the S&P/ASX 200 Materials Index increased by 2.29% during the session.

Gold, silver, and copper prices also advanced, with gold rising 0.59% to US$4,094.30 an ounce, silver gaining 1.22% to US$59.62 an ounce, and copper advancing 0.39% to US$13,696.00 a tonne.
