Saudi Air Defenses Thwart Drone Attacks on Oil Facilities
The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that air defenses intercepted and destroyed multiple drones launched from Iraqi territory. The drones attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern and Riyadh regions.
The official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense stated that 'these terrorist attempts were launched from Iraqi territory and executed by Iran-aligned terrorist militias.'
He reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's right to defend itself and its resources, asserting that it reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place.
