Saudi Air Raids Spark Explosions in Sanaa as Yemen Conflict Escalates
Loud explosions were heard in Sanaa, Yemen's capital, on an unspecified date. The blasts are believed to be the result of Saudi airstrikes, with at least five explosions reported across various parts of the city.
Two fighter jets were seen firing missiles toward the city, according to eyewitnesses. Al-Masirah TV, a media outlet operated by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi rebels, reported that Saudi Arabia attacked Sanaa 26 times, causing damage to hospital facilities and injuring hospital visitors.
The attacks also targeted oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, including the facility of state-owned oil giant Aramco, located south of Riyadh. Flames and smoke were seen billowing from the Aramco facility.
