Saudi Arabia Condemns Attack on Oil Tanker in Strait of Hormuz

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry has condemned an attack on one of its oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The tanker, SIDR, was passing through the strait when it came under attack, resulting in the deaths of two Filipino crew members.

The Saudi National Shipping Company had previously reported that the two crew members were killed while aboard the tanker.

The incident comes as tensions between Iran and the United States have increased over regional developments and the security of maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
