Saudi Arabia Fends Off Houthi Missile Barrage with Intercepted Fire

Saudi Arabia's defense systems intercepted six ballistic missiles fired by Houthi militants towards several cities, including Yanbu oil hub and Taif. The attacks come on the heels of a recent escalation in strikes against Saudi targets.

The Houthis have been increasingly targeting Saudi Arabia's infrastructure and population, with dozens injured and energy facilities damaged in September alone.

Saudi-backed coalition forces say they intercepted all six missiles, but warned that any further escalation from the Iran-back militants will be 'dealt with firmly.'
