Saudi Arabia Hosts Global Energy Leaders for Talks on Markets and Supply
Riyadh is set to host the world's top energy leaders for high-level talks on global markets, supply, and investment from October 11-15. The event, titled Riyadh Energy Week, will feature over 30 ministerial sessions and include participation from more than 25,000 attendees.
The highlight of the week will be the 25th World Petroleum Congress (WPC), hosted by Saudi Arabia for the first time in its nearly 90-year history. The congress, themed 'Pathways to an Energy Future for All,' will cover topics such as global energy markets, investment and financing, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, carbon management, natural gas, and the future energy mix.
The event will see Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman formally open the congress alongside WPC President Pedro Miras. The executive program includes participation from several high-profile industry speakers, including ExxonMobil Chairman and CEO Darren Woods, TotalEnergies Chairman and CEO Patrick Pouyanne, and BP CEO Meg O'Neill.
