Saudi Arabia Oil Infrastructure Attacks Send Prices Soaring
Oil prices have stabilized above $105 per barrel after briefly hitting a daily high of around $108 on Tuesday. The increase in oil prices was driven by concerns over attacks on energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, one of the world's leading oil exporters.
The market reacted to uncertainty over the operation of strategic energy facilities and the timing of the full restoration of affected capacities.
US WTI crude also rose during the session, crossing above $100 per barrel, before correcting some of its gains.
