Saudi Arabia Reroutes Crude to Asia via Oman Workaround

Oil prices have dipped in response to reports that Saudi Arabia is rerouting extra crude shipments to Asian refiners via ship-to-ship transfers off Oman's Sohar port.

This logistical workaround allows Saudi barrels to be shifted between tankers offshore, then rerouted toward Asia without relying on disrupted Red Sea-linked flows.

The move has eased near-term supply worries, even as Brent remains above $100 due to Middle East conflict fears. However, it may not necessarily drag Brent decisively below $100, but rather reshape the curve and take some heat out of immediate supply tightness.
