Saudi Arabia Restarts East-West Pipeline After Drone Attack Disruption
Riyadh has restarted operations on its East-West pipeline after it was shut down due to drone attacks. The pipeline is of paramount importance, especially given the current regional shipping disruptions.
The state-owned energy company, Saudi Aramco, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Two sources said oil was flowing through the pipeline at a low rate.
The East-West pipeline was shut down on September 13 after drone attacks from Iraq, halting crude oil loadings at the port of Yanbu.
