Saudi Arabia Restarts Pipeline After Drone Attack
Saudi Arabia has restarted operations along its East-West Pipeline, allowing crude oil exports to resume from the Red Sea port of Yanbu. This comes just days after a drone attack damaged infrastructure and halted loadings at the port.
The pipeline is crucial for bypassing the Strait of Hormuz, which has been disrupted by military conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran.
Riyadh relies on the East-West Pipeline to divert around 4 million barrels per day - about 4% of global oil supply - to western export terminals on the Red Sea.
