Saudi Arabia Resumes Oil Loadings from Yanbu Port After Pipeline Restart
Saudi Arabia's oil exports have resumed from its Red Sea port of Yanbu after the restart of the East-West Pipeline, which was shut down due to drone attacks on September 11.
The pipeline, owned by state-run oil giant Saudi Aramco, provides a critical alternative route for Middle East oil, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz where ongoing military conflict has severely throttled maritime transit.
Trade sources and shipping data confirm that crude oil loadings from Yanbu have averaged about 2 million barrels per day since last week.
Kpler estimates current throughput on the East-West Pipeline at 2.65 million bpd, with expectations to reach 3 million to 4 million bpd in the coming days.
