Saudi Arabia Unveils First Homegrown Electric Vehicle EXOBOT Amid Ongoing Geopolitical Tensions

Saudi Arabia has unveiled its first domestically-branded electric vehicle, the EXOBOT, just two days after the capital Riyadh was attacked by missiles and drones. The launch event for CEER's new EV went ahead as scheduled, demonstrating the Kingdom's commitment to accelerating industrial diversification and reducing oil dependence.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman personally announced the EXOBOT's launch, calling it 'another step forward' in building a sustainable and prosperous industrial ecosystem. The vehicle is offered in both electric sedan and SUV body styles and boasts impressive technical specifications, including an 800V electrical architecture that enables DC fast charging to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

The EXOBOT's design incorporates Saudi national identity into its features, with the front and rear light bars containing 32 independently illuminated elements symbolizing the year 1932 when Saudi Arabia was founded. CEER plans to expand its lineup to seven models by 2030, including not only EVs but also hybrids and internal combustion engine vehicles.
