Saudi Arabia Unveils High-Performance Electric Vehicles to Challenge Oil-Rich Heritage
Saudi Arabia's CEER Motors has unveiled two high-performance electric vehicles, the Exobot Sedan and Exobot SUV. The Exobots are designed to showcase the kingdom's shift towards electric power, with a target of launching seven models by 2030.
The Exobots feature three electric motors, delivering up to 1,096bhp and 1,106lb ft of torque to all four wheels. This results in impressive acceleration times: 2.1 seconds for the saloon to go from 0-62mph, and 2.4 seconds for the SUV.
The vehicles are equipped with a 112kWh battery, providing a range of up to 416 miles for the saloon and 348 miles for the SUV. A 10-80 per cent charge can be achieved in under 30 minutes thanks to their 800V architecture.
