Saudi Arabia Vows Retaliation Over Yemen Drone Attacks
Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry has condemned recent attacks on the kingdom, stating that it reserves the right to respond and deter those responsible.
The statement came after Yemen's Houthis claimed drone attacks on Saudi Arabian oil infrastructure on Monday, framing them as retaliation for Saudi drone incursions into their territory.
Last Friday, Saudi Arabian forces struck the Houthi-controlled Yemeni port city of Hodeidah in a significant escalation of the conflict.
Major-General Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, blamed the Houthis for the escalation, calling their attacks 'cowardly and reckless'.
