Saudi Aramco has informed European refining customers that they will receive no crude oil in October due to an attack on the company's East-West pipeline. According to a Reuters report, at least two European refineries were affected by the disruption, including Poland's Orlen.

The East-West pipeline was damaged during a drone attack, which also disrupted oil loadings at the Red Sea port of Yanbu. As a result, Saudi Aramco has told customers that October deliveries will not proceed.

European refiners generally buy Saudi crude under term contracts that guarantee monthly supplies. However, with no shipments expected in October, these customers are now seeking alternative crude supplies to meet their needs.
