Saudi Aramco Reenters Philippine Market with First Branded Station
Saudi Aramco has made its return to the Philippine market after a 17-year absence, opening its first branded station on Sucat Road in Parañaque City. The company acquired a 25% equity stake in Unioil Petroleum Philippines just under a year ago and plans to expand with several more locations already in development.
The new station offers premium fuel technology, lubricants, and car-care services, marking a significant milestone for the company as it seeks to build a lasting relationship with local communities. Aramco's vice president of retail, Ziyad Al-Juraifani, expressed pride in introducing the brand's own retail experience.
The partnership between Saudi Aramco and Unioil provides both parties with benefits: Aramco gains access to a growing market, while Unioil secures a reliable fuel supply. This move is seen as a strategic expansion for Saudi Aramco, allowing it to expand its global retail network.
