Saudi Aramco Targets Rapid Pipeline Recovery After Drone Attack

Saudi Aramco is working to restore half of its East-West oil pipeline's capacity within days and return it to full capacity in about six weeks following last week's shutdown.

The state-owned oil company is bypassing a damaged section on the route, which will allow it to resume part of the pipeline's capacity. Two pumping stations serving the pipeline were damaged in the attack, with the duration of repairs still unclear.

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the damage was being assessed and that the pipeline would resume operations 'soon.'
