Saudi Coalition Destroys Houthi Drone Near Mecca Amid Escalating Tensions
The Saudi-led coalition intercepted and destroyed a Houthi drone near Mecca on Tuesday, according to Major General Turki Al-Malki. The incident occurred after the coalition reported that 13 civilians were injured in missile and drone attacks by the Houthis on Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif.
The act was described as a 'red line' by Al-Malki, who stated that the Coalition will take action against the Houthis. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil price dropped 0.85% to $100.10 at the time of writing.
