Saudi East-West Pipeline Reopens After Drone Attack Halt
Saudi Arabia has restarted operations at its East-West Pipeline, which was shut down on September 13 after drone attacks. The pipeline is now pumping at a low rate, allowing for crude loadings to resume at the kingdom's Yanbu port.
The restart of the pipeline marks a significant development in Saudi Arabia's oil exports, which were halted due to the drone attacks. The East-West Pipeline connects the Red Sea port of Yanbu to the Persian Gulf, making it a crucial transportation route for Saudi crude.
Saudi Aramco did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the restart of the pipeline. However, sources briefed on the matter confirmed that operations had resumed and exports from Yanbu were expected to resume later on Tuesday.
