Saudi East-West Pipeline Restarts After Multi-Day Shutdown
Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline has restarted after a multi-day shutdown due to drone attacks on September 13. The gradual commissioning of the pipeline indicates that oil is being pumped through at low rates, with two sources indicating a return to operations.
The resumption of the pipeline's operation is dependent on the possibility of resuming loading and export operations from the Red Sea port of Yanbu. However, as of Tuesday, these operations had not yet been fully resumed.
Aramco did not comment on the matter, but the restart of the East-West pipeline comes after a shutdown that lasted several days. The markets are awaiting the resumption of crude oil loading operations from Yanbu port amid continued monitoring of developments in Saudi oil infrastructure and supply chains.
