Two pumping stations along Saudi Arabia's East-West Pipeline have been damaged in an attack last week, leaving the repair timeline unclear. According to assessments from three oil and security sources, the damage occurred on the pipeline that runs across the Arabian Peninsula. The pipeline has a length of 1,200km and is operated by Saudi Aramco.

The East-West Pipeline was temporarily shut down on Friday after a drone attack coming from Iraq, according to Saudi officials. The closure had relieved traffic caused by the shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi Aramco and the government media office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
