Saudi Arabia has resumed crude oil shipments through the East-West oil pipeline to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea, according to a report from TodayPress TV citing Reuters.

Although operations on the pipeline have restarted on Tuesday, loading oil onto tankers has not yet begun. Saudi Aramco is continuing to build up sufficient oil stocks at Yanbu port before exports resume.

The pressure testing and other preparatory work on the pipeline could take several days. A return to full capacity may take six weeks or longer.
