Saudi Oil Flows Surge to Wartime Levels on East-West Pipeline
Saudi Arabia has increased oil flows through its key East-West pipeline to over 80% capacity, according to an individual familiar with the matter. The person said that State-run Saudi Aramco was pumping nearly 6 million barrels a day through the pipeline.
This represents a significant increase in volumes available for exports from the kingdom's west coast, which have reached wartime highs. After accounting for supplies to refineries on the west coast, Saudi Aramco now has approximately 4.5 million barrels a day of flows available for exports.
