Saudi Oil Pipeline Expected to Reopen Within Days After Drone Attack

A major oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia is set to resume operations within days after being shut down due to a drone attack by Iran-backed militias.

The pipeline, operated by Saudi Aramco, serves as an alternate route to export oil and was damaged significantly, causing up to 4% of the global oil supply to be affected.

The attack has been attributed to Iran-backed Houthi forces, who have also captured a strategic island in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, further complicating Saudi Arabia's oil export routes.
