Saudi Oil Tanker Attacked by Houthi Group in Red Sea

Saudi Arabia's National Shipping Company (Bahri) confirmed that its oil tanker Amjan was involved in a security incident in the Red Sea on Monday. The company stated that no injuries were reported and it remained in contact with the vessel's crew.

Bahri emphasized that the safety of its personnel, protection of the marine environment, and safe operation of the vessel are its top priorities. It added that it continues to operate its fleet according to the highest safety and reliability standards.

The Houthi group claimed responsibility for targeting a Saudi oil tanker off the port of Yanbu in the northern Red Sea with a ballistic missile on Monday evening.
