Saudi Pipeline Repairs Ease Crude Oil Futures Concerns
Crude oil futures declined for a fourth consecutive session on Monday as concerns about supply disruptions eased. This comes after it was reported that Saudi Arabia may soon restore some flows through its damaged East-West Pipeline.
The pipeline, which transports crude from the eastern province of Qatif to the western port city of Yanbu, has been out of commission since a drone attack in mid-September. The damage had raised concerns about supply disruptions and potential price hikes.
However, with Saudi Arabia reportedly close to restoring some flows through the pipeline, market expectations have shifted, and crude oil futures have adjusted accordingly.
