Saudi Stocks Plummet as Yemen Rebels Claim Missile Strikes
Saudi Arabia's stock market opened lower on Sunday, following claims by Yemen's Houthi rebels that they struck 'sensitive' targets in Riyadh with missiles and drones.
The Houthis' attack has added to tensions in the region, which have been escalating since US and Israeli strikes on Iran in late February.
Saudi Arabia's benchmark index fell 0.5%, led by a 0.6% decline in oil major Saudi Aramco and a 0.5% fall in Saudi National Bank.
