Saudi Stocks Slide Amid Sector-Wide Losses
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw its shares decline on Sunday, with losses in key sectors contributing to the drop.
The Tadawul All Share index fell by 1.30% at the close of trade, with declines noted in Energy & Utilities, Cement, and Media & Publishing.
Despite this downturn, some companies managed to buck the trend. Arriyadh Development Co. rose by 5.68%, while Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance added 3.67%. Saudi Automotive Services Co. also saw a gain of 3.40% in late trade.
On the commodities front, oil prices were lower, with Brent crude down 2.43% at $99.99 per barrel for October delivery. November's WTI contract fell by 2.94%, while December's gold futures declined by 0.39% to $4,390.00 a troy ounce.
