Serbia Prolongs Russian Gas Deal Until Year-End

Serbia has extended its natural gas supply contract with Russia's Gazprom for another three months. The agreement, which was set to expire in September, will now continue until the end of the year.

The deal allows Serbia to receive up to 6.1 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas per day from Gazprom.

Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic announced the extension on Wednesday, confirming that the contract will remain in effect under the same conditions as before.
